Tip You In The App Blog

Blog #1

If you've ever driven a ride-share or delivered food, you've heard this comment from a customer. And everyone knows that basically means you're not going to get a tip.

No worries. Even if you don't get the tip, my goal is to make Tip You In the App the most informative, enjoyable brand for gig workers. It's hard busting your butt every day for a bit of money. Worse, people don't know how hard it can be.

I get it. I've been driving an Uber for the past two years. 99 out of 100 rides are great, but it's that one ride or order that makes us all consider is it worth it.

Don't give up. Remember why you started this gig. You wanted a little extra cash with a lot more control over your time. We do this work to live our lives the way we want to live them. Don't let that bad experience prevent you from achieving your goals.

I started with Uber to get some spending money. Quickly I realized the value of working when I wanted to work. Furthermore, I super enjoyed all the passengers, hearing their stories.

It wasn't too long before I quit my job to drive full-time. Full-time for me means driving enough to pay the bills. Like many of you, gig work isn't my only source of income. But I rely on Uber. It's my foundational income.

I'll keep posting to this website, newsletter, blog, podcast, and social platforms to build a community.

Let's connect!

I'll tip you in the app!
