Do bank robbers tip Uber drivers?

Picture this: You get a ping, and it's just another pickup. But as you roll up to the curb, there's no usual waiting around, no "Oh, just another minute" texts. Your passenger is ready and waiting, urgency written all over his face. As a driver, isn't that a dream come true? No waiting time, no circling the block. Just a swift pickup and go.

True story. An Uber picked up a bank robber. According to Bay Area NBC, "A 35-year-old Utah man robbed a Salt Lake City bank on Halloween and then ordered an Uber rideshare home from the scene of the heist, according to federal prosecutors."

I keep debating with myself if I'd like that trip. Of course, it's dangerous. But think of the story!

But mostly, I just wonder if the robber would tip me. Cash? In the App?
