My Reaction to Uber Driver’s Negative Comments

I was shocked at all the negativity toward Jeff Hoenig’s interview on The Rideshare Guy. So many drivers blamed Jeff for the reason Uber and Lyft give them bad rides.

Tim (The Handsome Liberal’s) video response stood out to me.

I get it. Uber and Lyft are global companies that don’t care about us drivers. Yes, they send us crappy rides that don’t meet our income goals.

Maybe drivers like Jeff taking 99% of the trips means Uber will lower the fares to the rest of us. Who knows? Drivers like me can only assume, because we don’t have access to the algorithm.

So what?

Is Jeff supposed to adjust his life for us? No. Nor should we for him.

Humanity should celebrate people like Jeff. Jeff is living his best life. He’s enjoying what he’s doing and it financially works for him too. The man even wrote a book about it.
