Uber Passenger Beer

We're driving down the highway in traffic, chatting to pass the time. Suddenly, I hear that unmistakable crack—the sound of a cold beer being opened right there in my back seat.

What the $%&@!!!?

Who in their right mind thinks it's a good idea to crack open a roadie during an Uber ride, especially on a busy highway? The passenger, seemingly oblivious, said he'd been living overseas, realized his mistake, and apologized, offering to toss the can out the window. But the last thing I wanted was for other drivers to see a beer can flying out of my car. Besides, I could imagine the mess if he spilled it in my back seat.

He eased the tension with $20. Driving from point A to point B is not just about getting from point A to point B; it's about managing unexpected situations with grace and professionalism.

Uber driving ain't easy.
